I am so excited about my Walmart trips yesterday.  In the BigLots ad this week, they  had the Bissell 1400-7 Little Green Multi-Purpose Compact Earth-Friendly Deep Cleaner on sale for $39 (regularly about $80 @ Walmart) and the SHARK STEAM MOP
on sale for $55 (regularly about $80 @ Walmart). 
I had stopped at Big Lots the other night only to find that they were out of stock for both of these items.  I was pretty bummed as I’ve been hoping to be able to purchase both of these items.

This week, Big Lots has All liquid laundry detergent on sale for 2/$5.  If you print two $1/1 All detergent coupons here, you will pay just $1.50 each (you’ll have to buy the 50 oz. size to use the coupons)! 
That works out to about $.05 a load!
UPDATE: Apparently, Big Lots does not take coupons.  However, the sale on All detergent is in their flyer for this week so if you saved it from the Sunday paper, take it to Walmart or Target to get it price-matched!  You might also be …

Today, I went back to Walgreens to have my receipt corrected from our trip the other day.  While I was there, I picked up the two packages of Bic razors (using the BOGO free coupon from 1/10 paper) for $2.00.  I also got two bottles of laundry detergent – it was on sale Buy One for $4.99, Get One Free.  That’s 150 loads of laundry for just $4.99!

Normally, I have to admit that I don’t buy dryer sheets.  They’re pretty expensive and so we’ve been making do without them.  I recently got a box free at Walmart and have really been enjoying the freshness that they add to the our laundry!  Not to mention, the help with static cling control during these dry winter months…
Knowing that it’s going to be hard to give up the dryer sheets when this box runs out, I did a little research to see if there was a way to make my own.  …

Remember my goal for the New Year to spend on $40 a week on grocery shopping?  Well, I’m really happy to say that week one is a success – we stayed at $35!

I hope to, in the future, be organized enough to be able to break down all the deals I was able to snag.  For this week, though, the pictures will have to do!
 

Head over to Coupons.com and print the $.75/1 Great Day Natural Eggs coupon!  I’m hearing that these are sold at Walmart for just over $1.50 a dozen – use the coupon and you could get some cheap eggs! 
I’m going to have to check this out when I do our grocery shopping this weekend…

Head over here to print a $1/1 off Duck brand packing tape. 
These sell for $1.08 @ Walmart, so with the coupon, they would be $.08 each! 
I was able to print multiples of these coupons by hitting the back button on my browser.
Packing tape is one of those things that doesn’t run out of uses!
