Recipe of the Day: Quick Biscuit Bread

7 January 2010 2 Comments

I just realized that we don’t have any bread to go along with our Soup dinner tonight.

It’s too late to make anything and with the sub-zero temps we’re having, taking the kiddos to the store isn’t an option.  I found this recipe for easy biscuit bread that I’m going to whip up and give a try.

I’ll let you know how it turns out!

I’d like to hear how it turns out and if it has the same consistency as regular biscuits.
Great idea to stay warm and snug inside…sending warm thoughts your way…XO

Well, I can’t say that I would recommend this recipe. It needs salt or something to add taste. The consistency wasn’t like biscuits as I had hoped it would be. It was more of a “cracker bread” as Bubba called it. He still seemed to like it and gobbled up his piece pretty quickly – at least I know someone around here can eat the rest of the pan!
